Kat, then 13yo got “Giggles” at end of Wellington Season 2021, as he had not been sold, known to be a little hot for the juniors at the time. The two dared to dream together, and Kat & Gigs were two blind mice together. Unbeknownst to the then trainer Jimmy Torano, they qualified for the Devon JR Jumper Championships less than two months later at High level on a wild card. Jimmy was not happy managing Kat’s safety, and he made the mom promise to bow out if it did not go well. But it was great at Kat’s age 13, and already a JR Hunter Superstar trained by Jimmy. What a great time under the lights Devon 21. After Devon, they went on to compete in August at NAYC21 Children’s at Jumpers, along with her dressage horse Dream Girl as the first time anyone ever competed both disciplines at NAYC. They secured a fourth Team and 10th Individual at their first FEI competition.

“Giggles has a goofy personality and he doesn’t like other horses, but loves people. Today he is currently competing in the USA with a young 13yo doing the Hunter Equitation. I couldn’t be more proud of him, as he wouldn’t want to be home retired while I’m in Germany. I love him so much!”
